TOPP ITALIA was founded in 1956 by the German Topp family, who in 1945 were the first in the world to industrialize the production of bias tape in Germany, which until then had only been made by hand. The company quickly became the Italian market leader in ribbons and trimmings for various sectors, producing an average of 40 million meters per year. All stages of design and production are carried out in the Bassano Bresciano workshop, where the items requested by style offices throughout Europe are manufactured every day. Every six months, TOPP ITALIA presents collections that showcase the most cutting-edge fashion trends in the ribbon and trimmings sector. The new items are designed by the in-house Research and Development Department, which also guides the purchase of fabrics and materials that best interpret trends and new lifestyles. For more than 70 years, our name has been synonymous with bias tape and is the benchmark for many customers who entrust us with the research and development of new solutions for their garments and recognize us for our accurate, fast, and professional service.
