Description
Tessitura Attilio Imperiali has a rich family tradition dating back to the early 20th century with Attilio Imperiali, followed by his son Marco, grandson Attilio, and currently managed by Alessandra and Claudia. Initially relying on home-based weavers, the company shifted to industrial production in the 1950s by establishing its first factory, removing eight looms from private homes. This change initiated continuous improvements in machinery and processes. In the 1990s, the company emerged as a leader in luxury fabrics for clothing and footwear due to market consolidation, with Marica Domanda, Attilio's wife, playing a crucial role. Today, Tessitura specializes in high-end textiles, including the famous "Raso Imperiali" satin, favored by designers globally, and operates 27 modern looms to produce a diverse range of quality fabrics while exploring new technologies.
